Last night was Commencements. and thank God I didn't need to stand for hours like last year. I was performing so yea. had to leave early. pity the probates and profects and other prefects. oh well, it's experience guys ;)
Did not receive any award though. hmm. I want at least Gold next year :) anyway, for us performers. we were all back stage waiting for about half an hour till our performance. so yea. bising bising kat belakang :D it's what we do best!
There was this group consisting of 3 girls. apparently ex-cempakans. and man I tell you they kick ass. one played cello, another played the harp and the other girl played the violin. in a way, it's like a mini band of their own. and they are seriously good. it's like so pro man. after them was the orchestra's 'Sekapuh Sirih'. I like that song. especially the xylophone. next was our girls choir 'Habanera'. F.D was good. and I think it went well.
Oh right, our attire for 'Habanera' was a black dress. ok not too bad. with stockings and covered shoes. er stockings?! fine we wore those before. but with a huge, gigantic rose sticking out of your head. huh?! yea. the rose was huge! and the stem was so irritating. when ever I turned my head to a certain angle, the stem would poke my head. and it hurts. yea.
So after 'Habanera' we had to change into school uniform. so rush. while changing, the Harp Ensemble performed. then it was Jo's solo 'Eternal Flame'. dang I love her voice :) then it was Nutsense. some dance/body percussion. quite nice. Grace was graceful! hahahhaa. I love watching her dance. then it was Gao Jye's turn. his solo 'Don't Wanna Miss a Thing'. and the best part is I fell in love with his voice <3 hahahhaha! I shall get him to sing 'Replay' one day >:) then the final performance. us, the choir performing the school song in a Big Band version.
And yea. that was mainly it. sighs. I was so damn tired that when I got home. I didn't even bother to brush my teeth and wash off my make up. so yea. I'm a dirty girl. hahhaa!
I plan to get rest today. a lot of rest!
